Welcome to the gallery of A. Barutcu (Abdurrahman Barutcu) — a curated selection from a lifetime of oil paintings. This archive is being built over time: nearly 250 original oil works exist and more pieces will be photographed and added gradually as the collection is prepared for long-term preservation. The works are grouped into three main themes. Still Life explores quiet moments — bouquets, fruit, vessels, and everyday objects — painted with a focus on light, texture, and atmosphere. Surrealism captures the artists more symbolic language: dreamlike spaces, unexpected compositions, and paintings that feel like memories or questions rather than answers. Landscapes & Wildlife brings together nature scenes and living beings — from calm paths and distant horizons to animals that appear as characters within the environment.
